期刊简介：每期选择一个对中国和世界具有广泛、重要影响的地质学科或专题为主题，由中、外地质学家共同撰稿，反映该主题的前沿研究成果、发展态势、研究热点及与该主题相关的分支学科、边缘学科的研究现状，是集综述信息与前缘成果为一体的地学期刊
投稿指南：Geoscience Frontiers (GSF) is the Journal of China University of Geosciences (Beijing) and Peking University that publishes peer reviewed research articles and reviews in interdisciplinary fields of Earth and Planetary Sciences. GSF bridges innovative, provocative and challenging concepts and models related to various fields of research including petrology and geochemistry in understanding lithospheric architecture and mantle dynamics, global tectonics, economic geology and fuel exploration, geophysics, stratigraphy and paleontology with insights on correlations and evolution, environmental and engineering geology, astrogeology, nexus of resources-energy-emissions-climate under Sustainable Development Goals, among other themes. The article categories in GSF include Focus papers of high-profile overviews published together with author vitae and photographs, Research Papers, Letters, and Discussions. This journal welcomes contributions that support and advance the UN's sustainable development goals.
